Asalaamu Alaykum,

Please Pray that Allah bless our community with continued health, safety and patience.

1. Ramadan will start on the evening of April 23 with Friday April 24th the first day of fasting. Eid ul Fitr will be on Sunday May 24th.

2. As of now, there will be no Taraweeh or other gatherings at MCQC to keep our community safe and to follow public health guidelines. Watch here for updates.

3. The Masjid is currently sanitized and we ask that nobody enter the building for prayer for any reason except an emergency. We want to keep the building COVID-free so that we are safe when we are able to resume prayers in the Masjid. To this end we will temporarily disable all access codes and FOBs until faith communities are cleared by local authorities to resume gatherings. This is only temporary and is for our community members’ safety. We will notify the community by email when this changes.

4. Our Imam is preparing to record daily Quran recitations to use during Ramadan and we will post them on our Facebook Group “Muslim Community of the Quad Cities” and YouTube “Muslim Community of the Quad Cities” channel ISA.
