Dear MCQC community

Assalamu Alaikum wa rahmatullahi wabarakatuhu,

The Shura council, on behalf of the community, wants to thank sister Irum Pasha and her family for all they did for the community leading the Sunday School. May Allah reward sister Irum and safeguard her.

The Sunday School will have a new administration starting in August. The administration would be placed in the hands of a School Committee comprised of the following community members:

● Sister Marwa Bazaraa
● Sister Amna Khawaja
● Sister Maria Ifitkhar
● Brother Oussama Bazaraa
● Brother Shahryar Dar

This committee is assigned by the Shura council to lead the school for the upcoming two years. During this two year period, the committee will come up with the best plan to run the school that would benefit our children and not place a burden on the teachers and the administration. The School Committee will elect a representative to update the community and the Shura council on the progress.

In the coming few weeks, we will be sending several emails to update the community on the school start date, calendar, registrations, and classes. The community wants to hear your ideas but most of all your support for these brothers and sisters. May Allah guide them, help them, and reward them for their efforts and their sense of responsibility.

The School Committee will be an Ad Hoc committee during this transition period and will report directly to the Shura Council.
